About JJB Heating & Cooling

JJB Heating & Cooling Ltd is a Dartford heating and cooling company run by Anthony Hunt. The business started in 2012 as JJB Electrical & Heating Services, set up by Anthony after the company he worked for was sold to a larger firm. In 2026, it was renamed to reflect its focus: boiler and central heating installs in the colder months and air conditioning in the summer. Electrical work, including rewires and consumer units, is still part of what we do.

JJB is Gas Safe registered and a Vaillant-approved installer. That means we can offer extended Vaillant warranties of up to 10 years on qualifying boilers. All of our labour is also covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee.

We cover Dartford, Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Swanley, Orpington and the wider SE London and Kent area. Most new work comes from recommendations by existing customers, many of whom have used us for years.

JJB Electrical and Heating sold and installed our Vaillant combi boiler eleven years ago and have serviced it ever since and done a few other jobs around the house as well. Are you Gas Safe registered?

Yes. JJB is on the Gas Safe Register, registration number 534255 (listed under our former name, JJB Electrical & Heating Services Ltd). You are welcome to ask to see the engineer's Gas Safe ID card, and all gas work is carried out and certified to current regulations.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. Quotes are free and valid for 30 days. We will look at the job, talk through the options and give you a clear written price before any work starts.

How do I pay?

Payment is by bank transfer. A deposit of 25% may be required to secure your booking and cover materials, with the balance due when the work is complete.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 18:00. We are closed on Sundays and do not offer a 24-hour call-out service.
